Sadly, Klaus and Ange's visit is winding to a close. We have had a wonderful time exploring the island and Kyoto. The girls have really enjoyed catching up with their grandparents and visa versa. Each day, we have cocktails at Carolyn and Meghan's cafe Rose. A Kyoto inspired Japanese restaurant established in our playroom. Amidst the butterflies, umbrellas and flowers, we catch up with each other over gourmet Japanese meals prepared by Meghan and Ella.
We've done so much over the month, that I don't know where to begin. Once Klaus and Ange adjusted to the time change we flew to Kyoto for spring break. It was a wonderful trip....the cherry blossoms were outstanding, the weather was fabulous, the food was great, we went on some terrific tours. The best being our walking tours because we had an excellent guide. She structured the tour so that all of us could have a wonderful time, which wasn't easy being three young children and three adults. Here are just a few pics. I'll add more later.
